Across Trust
The Across Trust operates purpose-built ambulances called “jumbulances” which take terminally ill and disabled people on group pilgrimages and holidays across Europe. Between 10 and 20 disabled people are accompanied by volunteer helpers, including medical personnel. Pilgrimages and holidays operate between Easter and November.

Camping for the Disabled is an organisation offering practical help and information to disabled people who wish to enjoy camping (in campervan, caravan, trailer tent or tent). Its objectives are as follows.
• To assist disabled people to overcome their handicaps and become as independent as possible so that they may live full and active lives.
• To encourage integration with society and universal acceptance of disabled people at all levels.
• To seek improvements in facilities available to all disabled people and to ensure that their needs are considered in every aspect of daily life.

Peter Le Marchant Trust
The season runs from April to October inclusive with the exception of Bank Holidays. The Trust operates three boats - Symphony (up to 26 passengers on day trips), Serenade (up to 10 people on 3/4 night holidays) and Melody (sleeps up to eight and is available for weekly hire by a family or group with one or more disabled/seriously ill member) - from their base in Loughborough.
